What a Volunteer Minister Can Do

Here's an example of the kind of thing I just take for granted as a Volunteer Minister. I had a friend who was epileptic. Despite his medication, one time he had a terrible seizure and other people around him just didn't know what to do.

There are Scientology procedures called "assists."

I won't try to explain them here because L. Ron Hubbard describes it much better than I can. You can read about it in the Scientology Handbook.

Using assist technology I was able to help him pull out of the seizure and get back to normal much faster than he would have otherwise.

I was so happy to be able to help him that way.
